Hallo,

ich hatte mich vor langer Zeit mal vorgestellt aber dann den Umstieg auf DSLR nicht so richtig geschafft und alles geriet ein wenig in Vergessenheit, aber nun habe ich bei eBay den hölzernen Ring von BoPhoto für das 8mm-Sigma ersteigert und suche nun nach einer günstigen Gelegenheit für das Objektiv.

Was muß ich bei der Montage des Objektivs am RIng beachten, darf das Teil noch auf Autofocus stehen oder muss ich manuell (wohin?) fokussieren?

Ich habe eure ganzen Ring-Adapter Threads schon durchforscht, aber die Essenz war nur daß ich vom Agnos RingT eher die Finger lasse und einen individuellen Eigenbau kann ich ja später mal ins Auge fassen. Nur am Rande wurde immer mal auf das BoPhoto-Teil verwiesen, aber nie negativ.

Ein kurzer Nachtrag: Bo Lorentzen hat mir folgendes geschrieben:

Notice the bracket holds the focusing ring, the ring should be taped to prevent rotation and the lens unlocked so that the ring can move freely because we do not want to put strain on the focusing system.  focus the lens and then leave it there for the shoot. When the bracket is on the middle of the focusing ring the lens is in nodal point.

Könnte mir das bitte jemand verständlich erklären? Was meint er mit Lens unlock, muss ich jetzt auf manuell oder automatik gehen?
