Anbei der englische Text unseres Aufrufs bezüglich Photokina.

Photokina takes place from September 23th to 28th 2008 in Cologne/Germany.

The IVRPA will have its booth in hall 9, amongst others like Fotocommunity, the biggest online photographic community and PlusX award.

As already announced in our contest there will be an exhibition of prints, high-resolution gigapixel images and also interactive VR panoramas. We also plan to have presentations, showcasing the work and techniques of our trade.

We hope to gather the interest of both the general public and our own members with different types of sessions.

One of the main goals of our presence at Photokina is to promote VR photography. Photokina provides a great platform to share ideas with other photographers and get new inputs for your own work. That is why we need members who help at our booth to answer questions and teach our visitors about VR photography.

As two years ago (see http://photokina06.ivrpa.org/ ), IVRPA members will once again do a live coverage of the whole fair with interactive VR panoramas. The panoramas will be stitched at the booth and be available online at http://photokina08.ivrpa.org/ .

We will try to do a group reservation for the accommodation. For members that help at our booth for 2 days and more IVPRA will pay for their accommodation cost. Since we have to move forward with the booking of the accommodation, the DEADLINE FOR THE GROUP RESERVATION is Friday August 22th 2008.
